First Impression : Roller Lash by Benefit

Its been a while since my last post, so here is another ;
happy reading!

Side note: I just realized I never mention that this is a mascara, so by the way this is a first impression of a mascara!

Firstly, before i start I'm just going to tell you a bit about the product before I even try it.
I have got the miniature so I'm guessing it will be a little different to the full size, but pretty similar.
So, it looks like this  ↓ , which i am totally in love with (especially the lid), but the rest is pretty simple.
Looking at the brush it is slightly curved and the *bristles* (not sure if that's what they are called) look quite pointy, and like there is less than usual.

Now this is after I have tried the product ; it gives and keeps a really nice curl, but doesn't give a lot of volume. One of my pet hates is when mascaras clump and give you spider lashes (when your lashes  are so full of product they just look like spiders legs), I personally love minimal, natural lashes, so i love this as it separates and gives a great curl. However if you love the volume, and you want your lashes to really stand out then this is not for you!

sorry about my face
I'm not wearing any make-up just the mascara!

Book Review: Girl Online by Zoe Sugg

I am a huge fan of Zoella (Zoe Sugg) and so are very many people but I want to write this review without being bias, so i'm not going to write this as a fan but as I would any other book.
I also want to mention the stories that Zoe didn't actually write the book ; well I can't tell you if she did or didn't , but I know Zoe had help as she tweeted it , and that is all I know. If you want my opinion ; I think that she had help (as she said) , but the idea was hers and she is not an author so why does it matter if she had help.
Anyway onto the review, Happy Reading!

The book is about a girl named Penny who has a blog ; she blogs about her feelings and from this finds out she has anxiety. She goes on a trip to New York where she meets a guy, and lots of happenings take place. She also has a best friend who has the problem that his parents especially his dad are not in acceptance that he is gay, she also has highs and lows with this friend because of the guy. This guy named "Noah" has a secret, which really screws everything up but obviously *spoiler alert* it all turns out alright in the end!

I actually really enjoyed this book, and the secret was not predictable to me.It is a really easy read which would make it a great book for holiday or just anytime you don't want a book which will take you months to finish. You still really get to connect with the characters throughout the book even though its an easy read which means when events happen you really feel the emotions. The main character is a really relate-able character even if you don't suffer from anxiety, which makes you want to keep on reading. The only part I am not so in love with is the ending as I feel it is all a bit rushed. That being said I like the idea of the ending just not the way it was written.

Thank you for reading; if you do not agree (or do) be sure to comment down below.

Top Ten Drugstore Beauty Products

These are my top ten favorite drugstore beauty products; they are in no particular order, and I tried to pick at least one product from each "section".
Happy reading!

Face
Loreal Paris Nude Magique Blur cream

This is a great base for the face and really just smooths everything out.

Bourjois healthy mix foundation

I am in love with this foundation ; I mix it with the Loreal Eau de Teint which is below. It has a good coverage and looks dewy on the skin.

Loreal Paris Nude Magique Eau De Teint

This is a very light foundation which just glides on the skin. It blends to a powdery texture which I think looks really nice. This foundation would be great for you people who always tend to end up a little bit cakey (well not anymmore)!
It's also great mixed with a more high coverage foundation ; as I do with my healthy mix.

Maybelline Brow drama

This product is my brow routine, i sometimes use a bit of pencil too if there are any major gaps but on the whole this makes my brows. It gives them a bit of color and keeps them in the right direction. Now I have the worst brows ever and this makes them look not so awful!

Eyes
Maybelline Color Tattoo: My favorite colors are "Pink Gold" and "On and on Bronze" Cream Eyeshadow
"on and on bronze"                                                                                                "pink gold"

I love these to the moon and back! I bought the "pink gold" a while back when I was first getting into makeup, and very few of the products I used then i use now (partly because most were out of crappy magazines which I got just for the free-bee)!                          These just sit on the eye and do not budge , as you can see I have used "pink gold" mostly, this is because it is such a beautiful colour and is a little bit different than your regular browns."on and on bronze" I got when I realized how much I loved these products. It is a lovely brown , and great for everyday use. As you can see I like neutrals , but if you like the sh-bam colors they have a few of those too!

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

This is an amazing mascara, it just gives my lashes what they need.

Sleek au natural eye shadow palette

I have had this palette for a long time and its amazing. I use it as well as my Naked 3 , but as that is not drugstore.......
I personally prefer the shimmer shades ; because of the colour of them but also I think that the formula of them is better than the matte shades.
This is a great all round palette, and I think it's the best in it's price range.

Lips
Revlon colorburst  Lip butter in Juicy Papaya

This is a beautiful lip colour for everyday and it also feels lovely and moisturizing on the lips.

Revlon colorburst Lacquer Balm in Vivacious

This is a rather bright shade, but why not just go for it. What have you got to lose! It has a minty taste which for me is a plus , and sits gorgeously on the lips.

Skincare
Garnier Micellar cleansing water

This is my savior from makeup wipes! If you want to know more about this stuff I also mentioned it in my August favorites post!

August favorites

I'm just going to get straight to the good stuff ; so here's what I've been loving throughout August!
Happy reading!

Beauty
Garnier Micellar cleansing water
I got this after watching so many videos where people mention that face wipes are bad for your skin, and before this stuff I was a face wipe lover.I did think face wipes were easier, but trust me compared to this stuff they are slower to use and more expensive.
So apart from comparing it to face wipes it is basically water with whatever Garnier put in it to remove your makeup and cleanse your skin.Another amazing part of it is it comes in a 400ml bottle which it says will last you 200 uses, I have not put that to the test but i'm sure it will last me a while.
I would definitely suggest to anyone that wears makeup and wants a quick, easy, and non stripping of the skin way to remove it.

Food/Drink
Mocha Coconut frappuccino from Starbucks
It tastes like heaven!

Nail varnish
Seventeen Gel Colour: Mint bon bon

Book
Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I read this book on holiday and I was so lost in the book that when i would look up to get a drink or ... I forgot where I was and kind of felt like I was Cath (a character in the book), and that's what this book does to you.The book is about a girl called Cath who has twin called Wren, and Cath's journey through college without her other half Wren; as Wren decides she wants to do the whole college thing without Cath. There is love, sister problems, family problems, fanfiction and lots more that i don't want to spoil for you!
Spoiler Alert: highlight it- put the twins names together! (I don't know why i find this so exiting!)

Random
Papaja (flower pot) and Fejka (fake flowers) from IKEA
I don't know why but recently I have really wanted flowers in my room; unfortunately I don't think i could keep flowers alive so when i went to IKEA i got some fake flowers and a pot. They sit on my desk and I feel like flowers or any type of greenery adds a touch of freshness to any room; real or fake. TIP:Spray them with perfume so they smell good!

Music
Taylor Swift: shake it off
This song is super catchy and i also think its really motivational as "the haters gonna hate .." but you should just "shake .. shake it off"!

doddleoddle: stuck the way we are
I recently found Doddie's youtube channel (doddleoddle), she sings and plays the ukulele, and also plays the keyboard while singing. She has a few original songs, but she also does lots of covers; which are all amazing!
My favorite song of hers as I said is stuck the way we are; this song has her sister in it as do some of her others which is super cute, and I also think a lot of people could relate to this song.
The last thing I have to say about doddleoddle is go check her channel out as she is very talented!(click here for a link to her channel & here for a link to stuck the way we are).
